Friends I have on the 'net around as close to my heart as my close circle of friends. I don't care what others think that my friends could possibly be some "40-year-old stalkers." I know them well enough to know who they are.
Heck, sometimes I talk to my friends here more than some friends I have in a class or two at school.
We may not be able to hang out at the mall on Saturday nights or collaborate on school assignments, but the friends I have made here are some of the most fun I've ever had. Just because I cannot reach out and touch your face does not mean you are not real. Don't let anyone ever tell you otherwise.
...which is why I hate it when I talk about Chat exploits and my family rolls their eyes. There's a connection whether it's face-to-face or through these fantastic little tubes.
