i've never been to an Ash Wednesday mass. but i did dye the top of my head blue a few times (and it turned silver after awhile). and people in my church looked at me like i had grown another head.
I was actually a little worried about going back to church with the hair, but I figured since I'm attending a church that's a campus-centric one they'd have fewer issues. And who cares I mean it's hair dye. :(

Ash Wednesday and Good Friday are my two favorite services of the year. I don't know why, but I;ve always connected to the solemnity of Lent.
