Alright. In no particular order:

Blue exorcist
Cells at work
Nichijou
My love story
Ouran
Samurai champloo (as per Lena, she's trying to get me to watch it)
Noragami Aragoto

I'd start with Nichijou or My Love Story, because they're funny as heck. Then go Ouran if you need fluff, Blue Exorcist or Aragoto if you need action. And, if you can handle it, start a few at the same time so you can flip between whatever kind of show you need. I know you'll be indisposed for quite a while and it can drive people stir-crazy over time.
