Ooh, those are neat ideas! I especially like 1 & 2, but the idea behind the the art trades is interesting, too.

Ideas on Anime of the Month:

• Choose the series for the month with a vote
• randomly pick the anime from a list of well-known series to keep it to anime that most people would have seen

and do it like round.1 being pick a character and round.2 being pick a story/scene people would like ^^

That is a good point. Maybe there are people who can do both who can be either an artist or a waller depending on how many people sign up.

I like the OC vote for a comic - because I need more reasons to make comics :) and it would be nice to draw something about someone people want to hear about ^^

In the spirit of actually being a productive side art human being, I'm all for the Valentine's/White Day SS-style event. I think I understand how it would work, too, logistically speaking. The only question is, what do we do if we get more fanartists than wallpapermakers? Not everyone knows how to make a wallpaper.
