It really is a hinderence when we aren't notified about anything like this. I get that the site is relatively dead compared to several years ago, but that's still not an excuse for the mods to leave the site on the back burner. And, to be honest, nobody is exactly attempting to keep this site in motion; that being administrators, moderators and users. If anything, we all need to take part in making this site as it once was, if not better. I've technically been here since '09 and I've seen its ups and downs. This site is a great place if we make it a great place.
That made sense why I couldn't log on....I thought the site was done for good and came to terms with that but then good thing my hopeful side was like, don't worry it's probably the Internet or more maintence stuff. Good to know!

I honestly thought it was my internet connection at first. It's good know that it was a maintenance, but they really need to give a heads up to people and announce it on the home page or the facebook page. (which sadly are both inactive)
The absence of mods and notifications are starting to become an annoyance. I kind of have mixed feeling about everything, but I'll probably make a post later with my contact info and personal thoughts. :^(

So that's what the issue was. You're right, the people running this site needed to do a better job letting the users know about this stuff. This is the kind of thing that should go in the email newsletter that they used to send out.

Thanks for clearinv the air, Keba. I thought there was a chance it could be maintenance, but since it wasn't announced first, I freaked out a little.The inactivity of mods is definitely causing some of the unease.
