Yes, sequels and reboots count. OVAs only count as half a series. And you don't have to have completed all those series, but it is a plus.

Question: do different sub-series count? Like the bajillions of YuGiOh and the differences between FMA and Brotherhood? Or Nanoha and Nanoha As?
