You know, I was so hooked that I watched another three episodes last night. Although I think I might take a break for a bit. I'm having a bit of an overload.
So far, I haven't felt compelled to make any fan art. Then again, I've been having a bit of a dry spell in regard to ideas. But I have a few pictures that I've wanted to draw hanging over my head, and you know it takes me forever to post anything. But I probably will do some AoT fan art someday.

Your post has pretty much summed up my entire thoughts on this series too. Except I haven't watched anything but part of the first episode when I was doing a gift drawing and needed ideas. I'm afraid to start watching the anime because I know I'll get hooked and then all I'll think about is AoT and I won't be able to focus or draw anything else! And I also usually get suspicious of popular things, but hearing from you makes me really want to watch this series even more! When Toya told me about it, I believed in how awesome it was because she doesn't often go on a fan rampage xD haha
I should really check it out... I'm gonna be one of the last Otaku to watch it, it seems lol. I also feel like my family doesn't have enough interest usage for the month for me to wat h anime in secret lol. Maybe I can watch it when doing a long dogsit somewhere with wifi...

For me, I kept seeing fanart of AOT, so I got curious and looked up a trailer for it and the 3DM gear caught my attention along with the titans!
I ended up watching and before I knew it, I was hooked. I think it's the mystery,suspense and action that makes it interesting, plus watching the anime you just want to know what's going to happen next. I recall I kept saying "okay, one more episode" then I ended up watching more. lol
I don't think that this manga/anime with be as long as Naruto and Bleach. It's pretty much an apocalypse, so I can't see it going on for like 300+ chapters and I don't think it would fit this series.
I really hope it doesn't though.
I also kinda avoid popular anime/manga cause I'm not sure it's any good or people just go with it cause everyone else is and I also get tired of seeing it around (like when black rock shooter was popular a while back, I was tired of seeing it.)but I feel like Attack on Titan will be the only exception for me.
From what I've seen/read, I really like it, but also in recent years I've become a massive coward XD I really want to watch it, and I really really want Marco back :(

Yeah, I know what you're talking about. I started watching it because I wanted to know what was the commotion all about. When I finally watched it, I couldn't stop and ended up watching half of the episodes out already. It's addicting and good; it might even end up being a series like Naruto or Bleach. Who knows, you may have been predicting it.

I liked Naruto before it became Shippuden :/ Bleach is still okay in my book. But yeah, I think AOT shouldn't be a long series like a few anime are :/
