First off, nobody deserves to be "disowned" by anybody. To me it sounds like they weren't real friends in the first place. Point is I know how you feel. I know what it feels like to feel like you don't matter, or that you're a burden, etc. You are NOT a burden, people need you, and you're a good person. So please cheer up.
