Tomorrow is picture day. I HATE picture day with a burning passion. I am not photogenic. [Or pretty, for that matter...] And we have to do senior formals tomorrow. So I have to get all dolled up and wear the ugly drape and all that jazz. Blegh. I am not looking forward to it at all.

Umm...went to go see Where The Wild Things Are on Friday night. It was really good--but really sad. It was very well done, though. If you want to go see it I would recommend it.

Not much else is going on. I've been working a lot because a lot of people have things going on, so I have to fill in at the office. Had the coolest encounter on Friday when I was working. I was talking to this little boy who was telling me that he was a robot from an alien planet who had crash landed here on earth. Coolest. Kid. Ever.

The Internet at my school keeps going down. Which is not good for those of us who are enrolled at the community college taking college courses. We can connect to the wireless network just fine, but our ISP keeps having seizures or something, so the Internet is unreliable, which is starting to really stress everyone out. We finally talked to the school administrator about it and hopefully the problem will be fixed, because it's starting to really piss me off.

Not much else to say. Life is pretty boring, but boring is good.

a dreary Thursday afternoon

I'm wearing a pair of cut-off jean shorts in order to revolt against the weather. [It's super cold and rainy.] I also have to have knee-high knit socks to keep my legs warm, but I've still got the shorts on. Take that, Weather!

Today, I officially changed my Facebook langauge to "pirate". It's the coolest thing ever. If you have a Facebook go to "settings" -> "language" -> "English (Pirate)". Reading all of the pirate-y things on my Facebook pages has made my day.

My sister and I are going to go see "Where the Wild Things Are" tomorrow. I'm soooo excited about this movie. When I first heard about it last winter I started counting down the days, and now it's finally here!!! I'm so excited. This movie is [hopefully] going to be epic.

I probably should be writing my Creative Writing paper right now...but I'm kind of tired and can't think of anything to write.

And that's all I have to say about that.

because I don't want a social life, not really.

So, I officially wasted nearly my entire school day to this website:

My Life Is Average

Click on it if you want to waste your time with the most awesome things ever. I've been reading since first period and only stopped to work on my Anatomy class. I officially feel like I have no life.

Thanks, MLIA.

Zombieland.

If you haven't seen Zombieland yet, you should. My sister and I went with my dad last night to see it and it was HILARIOUS! Oh my gosh. Super gory, though...but it was a zombie movie so that was to be expected. But it was really good; I enjoyed it.

College

So, went to THE COLLEGE, the one that I have totally fallen in love with, this morning for an interview and to sit in on a class. Found out that both my sister and I got accepted!! [VICTORY!] And then also found out that I qualify for a crap-load of a scholarship and that if I take the SAT again and improve by 110 points that I'll recieve a full scholarship to THE COLLEGE. Holy crap. I might just take the SAT again. I know, I said that I wasn't ever going to take that thing again--but, what the hell, it's worth a try to see if I can get a full ride. And if not, still qualify for a hefty sum and I can fill out the FAFSA and all that jazz to see if I can get grants. And do the whole student loan thing.

I'm very releaved to find out that I got accepted. I don't know why I was so worried. But now I get to worry about the financial aspect of everything. But, where there's a will there's a way. And I will be going to this college come next fall--so there's the 'will' now, I just need a 'way'...
