It’s simple really. All of you on the site bitching and moaning and complaining about who won the NYAF contest. STFU. Seriously, just STFU already. Since when did theOtaku turn into an elitist site full of snobs who shove their heads up their own asses and turned their noses up to new members?
Since when did theOtaku look down on someone who joins the site so they can enter a contest because NYAF choose to use theOtaku to host the contest for their mascot? Stop bawling and being emo because some longtime member didn’t win this time around. If you don’t like that NYAF didn’t limit contestants to people who have been a member longer, too bad. That’s their call, not yours.
So really people, if this applies to you, stop being butthurt and grow up. Start acting like mature members who welcome everyone to the site instead of whiny, selfish, butthurt oldies who somehow think being here longer makes them better than others.
It never has and it never will.
