I didn't watch it, and I haven't read the books either. o_O That sucks that they did a bad job of it though. I really hate when they do that to a good series.

I agree completely, I was really surprised by how much it completely deviated from the original story. Other than to keep the same premises of needing to deal with Darken Rahl, it was just shocking how much they total changed the events to make it dramatic.

Honestly, if Goodkind really was involved, I'll be disappointed that he let them turn it into such a melodramatic failure. That was just beyond bad. There were so many inconsistencies in the story and so many moments where I was literally going... WTF?

I think like you, I won't bother to watch it anymore.
