There are a lot of people who are feeling that alienation, and it's on both sides. Both TheO and MyO don't have the same warmth they once did. Many members are feeling that same disappointment. Don't get me wrong, there are some really cool things that can be done here on VV, but those cool things do not make up for the loss of community created by the silicon wall which now separates the two isolated otaku communities. Those of us who hop the fence between the two are seeing the damage from both sides, and it's not pretty.
I should put my dA link in my main world intro, though I'm not on there often, I do get around a couple times a month.
