the melancholy of haruhi suzumiya (only 14..38 with the second season along with it) if you wanna know more about it, i heard about it first from 1dev13.

Okay what about Samurai 7, Fooly Cooly(or FLCL...Although it's really weird and confusing -_-'), Wolf's Rain, Air Gear (I'm in love with it at the moment X3), RahXephon, Vampire Knight (Not sure how long it is...), Black Cat, Darker Than Black, Blood Plus, Chrono Crusade, Code Geass (I think this one is kind of long though...), Fruits Basket, Hellsing, Hetalia: Axis Powers (actually I've never seen it but I plan on watching it cause Isoka recommended it...), and Ouran High School Host Club.
I don't think some of these are really that long. :3 around 26-30 episodes? (Some of them might be more though cause I haven't finished some of them.)
OH! But I recommend the manga Doubt. (Rabbit Doubt to get the right manga..You can read it on mangafox and onemanga)
Sorry the list is kinda long, I'm just naming random things that come ta mind.
