I can understand your point
I wish the movie could have been better, and I still love the books
they also messed up the Spiderwick Chronicles when they made the movie xP
I havent seen the Eragon movie yet, but I heard they screwed it up too
and some of the Harry Potter books they screwed up when they made the movie, but I still lvoe them
