All of Schultzie's suggestions are good ones. (Durarara!! is a currently airing series that is seven episodes in (out of 24) right now, and Bakemonogatari still has two episodes left and will finish in March, I believe.)
I forget, did you watch Baccano!? The guy who wrote the original light novels for that series also penned Durarara!! and the animation studio that adapted Baccano! is adapting Durarara!! Very consistent!
