What the hell? Is she even allowed to do that?! I would've wanted to slap her too. It is English, not gym. Besides, that is no way to punish kids who haven't even deserved it in the first place. I am so sorry you and your classmates has to go through that.
I would ask if we have the same math teacher...but mine is a woman XD I hope you can catch up on your sleep. You are so not alone. I got about 4 hours last night and probably the same amount tonight... Anyways, take care :)

I might become a teacher and I agree with the fact that those ones are bad... :/ I have a very bad one too, this year, it's unbearable! School isn't the funniest thing ever so when the teachers are bad, it's even worse... Anyway, don't give up and stay strong! I wish you luck :)
