OtakuOni: Chapter One

She walked over to another door on the third floor. It was unlocked. She walked
in to see a second library.

“Under normal circumstances…This would be a dream come true, but I have to find Chero…and a tool for that mochii.”

Hime walked along the book shelves when she noticed a familiar curly haired brunette reading a book.

“Cherrrrrrrr beeaaaaaaarrr!” she cried, glomping Chero to the ground, “I am so
happy you are ok!”

Chero smiled.

“I’m sorry I worried you. A monster showed up. It seemed to follow me instead of Dino and Danni…So I ran a long time trying to lose it. I was very brave. I did not cry at all. But you should have seen Dino and Danni’s faces. They were so scared!”

Hime chuckled a little, “I have already run into the monster.”

“Dino and Danni, are they ok?” Chero asked.

“Yeah, they are upstairs trying to get a mochii off the wall.”

“A mochii?” Chero questioned.

“Come and see!” Hime said, helping Chero up off the floor and up the stairs.

Chero laughed and smiled as she let Hime drag her up the stairs.

When Hime and Chero showed up to the fourth floor Dino and Danni were locked in combat with the grey monster.

“Hime! Take Chero with you and run,” Dino called.

“Chero! You are ok!” Danni cheered.

Hime blinked, “Did you hear something Chero?”

Chero shook her head, “Nope! Not a thing.”

“Dino told you to run. Go!” Danni said.

Chero and Hime grinned as they hurried over to help Dino and Danni. With a few
swipes of a sword and a blast of magic…The monster faded away.

“I bet it will be back…” Hime said.

“That was stupid. Why didn’t you run?” Dino asked.

“And watch you get hurt? No. I can help…” Chero pouted.

Dino’s heart melted. He kissed Chero’s pout away, “Mi dispiace…I just worry about you.”

Chero nodded, “I know. But I don’t want to lose you, ok?”

He smiled lazily, “Alright.”

“If you two are done making goo goo eyes at each other…we should try and find a safe spot to sleep tonight.” Danni said, “Cause…We’re locked in.”

Chero’s eyes brightened, “I found a key while I ran around.”
She held it out for everyone to see, “It says it’s for a room on the second floor.”

“Sounds like as good of a place as any,” Hime said.
