Hime left the room and looked at the key, “Library? ...If I were a library…I would…be downstairs!”
Hime hurried down the stairs and turned down the hall that led to the kitchen. She saw a door and tried the key in it. It worked! She walked into the door and froze when she thought she saw something move. She waited…And waited…Nothing. She brushed off the bad feeling and explored the library. She stopped when she noticed Oniigiri just sitting on the table.
“That has to be a trap. I don’t trust it…” she said.
Hime kept looking until she found a key. What luck. She turned to leave when she saw a giant grey alien approaching her. This had to be the monster Dino
mentioned. He looked like a nasty moldy scone. Hime ran for the library door.
Locked. She fumbled with the key, but quickly unlocked it and ran.
She glanced back…Huh? The monster did not seem to follow her. She sure was lucky this time…Hime glanced down at the key. Bedroom 2nd floor. She deadpanned. Why were all of these keys labeled? It was like they were stuck in a video game or something. Hime shrugged it off. It made her life easier…So she just accepted it.
….Somehow…Hime ended up on the fourth floor and the fourth floor is where she found…IT. It was staring at her with an annoyed expression. It looked very familiar too. She pulled at the large mochii. It would not move…even with Hime’s super strength. Maybe it was a job for more than one person? She looked at it again. It sure did look familiar…SasukeSasukeSasukeSasukeSasuke.
“…I got nothing…” She said, leaving the mochii behind.
Hime made her way back to the second floor to find out what door the key she found in the library opened. She tried a few doors before finding the one the key belonged too. She walked in and decided to lock the door behind her. She glanced up to see Danni eating Oniigiri in a corner.
“…Danni?” she questioned.
“HIME!” Danni cried glomming onto her friend.
Hime moved back, so Danni fell on her face.
“Ow!” Danni cried.
“I’m glad I found you. Can you help me find Chero and convince Dino to come out
of the closet he is hiding in? He says he is hungry…” Hime said.
Danni held up a second Oniigiri.
“I bought it from a strange toilet downstairs. Dino can have it,” Danni said.
“…I won’t even question it.”
Hime and Danni froze when they heard the door rattle. BANG BANG.
“That must be the thing that attacked us earlier…” Danni said.
“I saw it too…” Hime sighed.
She pulled her katana out of its sheath. She listened closely. The sounds
stopped. She motioned for Danni to follow. She carefully unlocked the door and came out swinging her sword. There was nothing there.
“…That was…” Hime started.
“Weird?” Danni finished.
Hime nodded and led the way back to the room she left Dino.
