I literally lol. I loved the whole theme. Sailor moon seems to have a similar problem; if the bad guys cant get energy from her town, why dont they try another country?

Haha, that was fun to read and certainly brings back memories! The paragraphs about the Mayor's ancestor and Him were pure gold.
As for the protectors themselves, I always wondered where the Professor got the necessary money from; you know, to sustain the household and all that. He seems to waste time almost every time he appears on-screen (unless he invents something that is destroyed or destroys the city by the end of the episode).
What I'd love to see is an episode where they show the PPG have left the town, and that Townsville is actually Gotham City of the future. Would make for an interesting PPG/Batman crossover
