As Ace said, do yourself a favor and watch the subbed version of Savers....it's like 4kids, only they allow a bit of violence and the voice acting is decent.
Yeaaaah, watch the sub. just trust me on this one. The voice acting is good, but some of the censorship rivals dem Poison Suction Cups that Chore Boys have to pull off fast.
but yeah, Savers/Data Squad is to Gurren Lagann what Tamers is to Evangelion.

Yeah, Season Three was really awesome with just about the entire premise, but you just can't replace what the first two seasons did. Watching that stuff religiously as it aired on television... it was awesome.

Yeah, much as I love Season 3's darker and edgier tone, I'm definitely trying to invoke the Adventure feel here, with a little of my own stuff and Kastom thrown in to pull epic Masaru maneuvers by channeling Kamina.
I love DemiVeemon already. He and Shin are a great complimenting pair. I also love that Tokomon is the most adorable thing THAT CAN RIP YOUR F*$%ING ARM OFF if he so desired. Excitement!
Oh, I plan to get some mileage out of (Demi)Veemon. He's like my own personal pop culture and movie reference machine. I think some of his data may have formed from TV Tropes.

My first reaction upon reading I was dressed as Chiyo was "WTF I HAVEN'T HAD THAT AVATAR IN (A) YEARS!" And then it got switched to my normal mode, so we're all cool. I think.
Yeah, I was wondering that myself, but didn't bother having anyone call him out on it. 'S fun to picture an unconscious Tom slouched over a keyboard without a shirt on in the Real World, though.
