well, mine doesn't have internet when traveling either. but since i still want to read fanfiction, i copy and paste some into word, and read it when i have no internet. also use it to type essays for class when out of town.

i agree with the vacation idea. sounds nice. understand about comp.s and siblings. am so glad i have a laptop of my own now, no matter how slow it is.
