it's not really that simple; it wasn't purchased to be used specifically for art or anything like that, i didn't even know she was getting one until she texted me about it post-purchase; i gathered that something was problematic with the printer part of our old one, though i can't say for sure *shrug*
i have yet to bring up what we should do, overall, i still use it more than anyone, so...who knows right now :/
