So, I finally found out that college actually makes you BUSY if you actually go to class and do the homework and study! I've been so busy lately. I haven't been scheduled to work at all these past two weeks, and I've still been swamped. Had a biology test on Tuesday (got a 90%!!) and a mass communication test yesterday (got an 80%) so I've been studying for those, also I have a lotta math homework too.
Not to mention, any free time I get I've been watching an episode or two of Doctor Who!! THIS SHOW IS RUINING MY LIFE!!! I just finished season 2! Doomsday (the last episode) ripped my heart out and stomped on the pieces... I sobbed so hard I got a headache. It's so sad. Ughhh. I don't even wanna live anymore.
I have a BUTTLOAD OF ARTWORK to submit to TheO!! I gave up on my scanner, it's way too bright. Instead I took my sister's Nikon camera and took pictures of all the new things, and also re-took some of the older ones that my scanner ruined. It's more than 8 drawings though, so I'm not too sure what I'm gonna do. I might put some into a huge sketchdump picture. :1
You'll see a few new OC's I've created, along with a slightly different eye style! I'm trying my hardest to move away from Japanese anime and make my art a little more western. It's tough though. Anything I draw automatically looks anime. XD
I also tried my hand at some realism!! Without a reference, I took my sketch pad and drew a profile of my bf Michael. I can't seem to get the lips right, but I'll show y'all anyway!
And I really gotta make a post for Nyarth... this weekend I'm relatively free so I'll definitely read the newest two posts in PGR and possibly start on Nyarth's post. Also I might start thinking about a new love interest for him and a best friend that he can basically be joined at the hip with. XD
Oh!! So my best girl friend, Becca, she's been working at CVS for a few years now. She's already the shift supervisor, and I asked if she could possibly get me into work there. She texted her boss right then and he was interested! She says she basically already got me into the job, I just gotta fill out an app and they'll do the background check thing. He sounds really lenient and is willing to have me work only a few hours each day, more times a week so I can have time to study, and Becca says she can HAVE ME START AT $9 AN HOUR. That's way better than my job at JoAnn's. The pay is $1.50/hr more, I'll have better hours, it's CLOSER than JoAnn's to my house, and the overall work is easier. At JoAnns we're basically working ourselves to the bone for minimum wage.
I told my mom about this and she's eager for me to change jobs! Only thing is, I am dreading putting my two weeks notice in, because then it'll be two weeks of me working and them knowing I'm being a traitor and leaving barely more than a month after I started working for them, and IT'LL BE SO AWKWARD. UGHHHHH.
But I'm excited! I am SOOO dirt poor right now. Last Friday my car got towed, and I had to pay an outrageous sum of $228 to get it back. I DON'T HAVE MONEY FOR THIS. Insurance is coming up and I gotta pay around $300 for that, and on top of that I owe one of my friends $13, I owe my mom around $90, and I gotta pay a little each month to dad for getting me the loan to pay for tuition this year. There's not enough time and not enough money for anything. I'm so swamped...
In the midst of all this stress though, there is always something good going on in my life! And that'd be my relationship. It's going amazingly, and I'm so thankful of what Naquin and I have. It's so special and unique, and just awesome. I'm in love with my best friend, and everything is perfect. <3
In 12 days we'll make our tenth month together as a couple!

my first paycheck from work came in!!! I made $185!!!!!!
