Ocean
It has really been a while since I last posted a poem here (if you can effectively call them that XD )
Sorry it's too short,I'm just barely getting a hold on my inspiration these days.
As always,I hope you like it and ANY feedback you can give will be greatly appreciated.
Side note: the initial name of this poem was "Dazzle" but I figured Ocean was more fitting.

To suppress the shadows of the past
To light to the future a new path
Into the ocean your anchor is cast
No destination is required
No greed in riches is desired
No lack of knowledge is admired
Sail into the horizons of the unknown
For this great ocean fits no map
And for this just notion fits no scamp
The routes are infinite and so are the tides
Will you lose sight of yourself and perish?
Or are you to be a great sailor who into the tide rides
The ocean of ones soul is greater than any mass of land
A place where nowhere else than on your ship can you stand
Be a mindless fool and take for granted
No where in this ocean can you lay stranded
nothing but water where ever you stare
The sight of soaring birds is ever so rare
Surviving until the night brings the sun to rest
But up in the sky millions of stars start to nest
Which stars will you use as compass?

A short simple poem I made,not much to say about it,except that I'm sure just about anyone can get the meaning behind it,I hope you like it.
Can't say I'm proud of it,it's rather lacking and really short,I hope I can come up with a better one next time.

thoughts thoughts endless plots
confusing matters and creativity droughts
What to do with my time?
self improve or just resign?
Flustered flustered,confusion I've mustered
No plan of mine ever succeeds to luster!
Walk in circles walk in circles
what's the use for my bundles?
I have the tools I have the time
Why can't I get anything primed?!
lack of motive lack of votive
pencils down the time is up!
nothing is achieved it's just a stump!
Think less and do more
because of over thinking it was all a bore!
just stop knocking and open the door!
Put to use what you already have of lore.

10 months after posting this I notice a grammar error right at the last line,How did I not find that until now?! >:(.
the line with the error:"Put to use what you already have of lore"
It was before "but to use what you already have of lore" ruining the whole thing at the very end,I should be more attentive when posting in the future XD.
