College Days: Coconut Cream Pie Incident

It's not that bad, I promise. It's actually pretty funny.

I was eating lunch the other day, and decided to try the coconut cream pie. The graham cracker crust disintegrated, leaving bits all over my sleeve, pants, chair, table, and cell phone. After dusting off my sleeve, I tried to dust off my phone, and promptly dropped it into the pie.

Not one to waste a moment of laughing at myself, I took another bite of the undamaged section of pie before putting my plate in the dish return and heading off to the restroom to clean off my poor phone.

Robin, the girl next door, has been hanging out with me pretty much all the time we aren't in class, to the point where she likes my suite better than hers. She never really talks to the other girls in hers because they don't talk to her, whereas all my roommates are super friendly and talk to me. We also are planning on taking the same gen ed courses next semester, because CLOSE FRIENDS WHO CLICKED ON A WHOLE OTHER LEVEL. We're even super synchronized in our reactions to things like, oh, I dunno, wasps that're trying to kill us.

Did I mention she's an Aquarius? Because she is. And I think that's partially why we get along really well. Or maybe because we have really similar interests and slightly similar backgrounds. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ But we get along fabulously, to the point where everyone comments about it, including my roommate, who joked that I'd leave her next year to room with Robin. maybe

She and I are actually co-plarenting a few little plantlings in my living room. We haven't named them yet, but we totally should!

So yeah, hooray for new friends!
