It did actually run clear last night, though I think our toilet water is still a little funny. :/ And our inspections actually got pushed back to later tonight, as my RA isn't feeling well.

Ehhh, well, it seems pretty likely. From the way it looks and the way it failed to respond to the initial antibiotics, it seems likely it'll be removed just to help the healing process. And thank you! My dad has had this surgery before, but I'll be thankful to get any advice I can as to how to recover. It's a simple and quick outpatient procedure, but it still counts as surgery since they administer some pretty powerful anesthetics. Dad couldn't drive after his was removed.

I don't have as much insight to your work as your professor/mentor/angel does, but I'm tending to agree with him.

So you will need surgery? Hoo boy. If you need any advice, come to me. I've never had a toenail removed, but I've been through some stuff.
