I would definitely try that! I couldn't get WMM to do exactly what I wanted, but it's sure to work. That's how I made my speed paint videos for the longest time.

Hmm, I might try a similar technique using Windows Movie Maker to try my hand at animation.
I draw all my frames in Paint Tool Sai, and then I put all of them into Sony Vegas Pro 8. :D It's a time consuming process, but I think it's worth it when I see then end product!
