You don't have to have a bad relationship to have skewed viewpoints. Just because it hasn't worked for you in the past doesn't mean it won't in the future. Don't judge a book by the cover sort of thing. You can't go into a relationship thinking it'll never last. Because then it never will.
Just because none of your relationships from high school nor some that you've seen work doesn't mean none do. And you shouldn't have that attitude that that's what will happen.
