If my grandmother told me my grandfather just died screaming on a toilet taking the worst shit of his life, my simple reply would be, "This". That would be an appropriate response. The funeral would simply be a loose gathering of like-minded individuals, huddled around a dead geriatric, all of us cold and lonesome in our own way, talking about this.
On behalf of the lesbian children, I say... Thank you.
This is a momentous occasion! I have never been more proud. But lest we forget, this is still the beginning of a long battle against the Jig-Jig monster!
