Awwwss.... Im sorry to hear that. Sometimes that is what it all ends up being at the end. A Popularity contest at the end. I make sure to get to my friends works when ever I can, but at times its kinda hard. Dont worry and stress to much on it though. Your a really fun person to chat with and your style is so sweet! Don't worry that happens to me all the time. I draw something good and original and it rarely gets any attention, just because my artwork gets put beside a drawing of a popular show like naruto. Oh well, all I have to say is don't give up and keep trying.
