The DC and Marvel Heroes Forum: Heroines and Villainesses

Today, I post up the first ever topic for the DC and Marvel Heroes Forum to have both DC and Marvel stuff in one topic, and since today's International Women's Day, I thought about celebrating this special day by host a topic where the focus is on the heroines and villainesses from DC and Marvel. Over the years, DC Comics and Marvel Comics, like several other comic book companies, have wowed fans with fictional female heroines and villainesss, and these gals have been admired for not only their beauty, but also their sense of strength (physically and/or mentally), inginuity, combat skills, ambition, power, intelligence, etc. Some heroines and vilainessess even manage to be great leaders. With such amazing female characters, comics manage to remind us that women are capable of doing any task a man can accomplish.

Anyway, for discussion, you are to talk about your favorite heroines and villainesses from DC and/or Marvel. Make sure to talk about why you love these characters, and you're welcome to talk about your favorite moments involving them, whether it be from the comics or even from TV series and films based on the comic properties. As an option, you can argue which side you consider has the superior heroines and villainesses (DC or Marvel, or even both) and why.

Poll: What DC Hero/Heroine Would You Like to See Get An Anime Anthology Treatment?

So far, Bruce Wayne/Batman seems to be the only comic book hero character owned by DC Comics to ever have his own Japanese Animation (anime) anthology treatment (his treatment was in the 2008 made-for-DVD anime anthology Batman: Gotham Knight). Now here's a poll question below for all you DC Comics fans out there (just click on it to reply to the poll):
