News: Arrow Named Favorite New Show by TV Guide

It was while finding out at StarTrek.com that the original Star Trek won the award for "Favorite Classic TV" from TV Guide and I found out that TV Guide Magazine granted the Fan Favorites Award for "Favorite New Show" to the currently running hit show Arrow, the first live-action version based on DC Comics' Green Arrow. Despite the tragic critical and commercial failures of numerous DC Universe-based live-action filmed media works that don't center around Batman or Superman, it's nice to know that this new hit series is proving glorious in its reception from the North American mainstream viewers. Congratualitions to the makers of Arrow on this glory.

The DC and Marvel Heroes Forum: Your Thoughts on Arrow

Inspired by Adam the theOtaku.com's bossman's series of theOtaku.com discuss posts on theOtaku.com's homepage, I begin today a post series specially for DC and Marvel Assemble where in each post, I present a topic that has to do with a DC Comics or Marvel Comics comic book hero franchise (though sometimes the theme will relate to both DC and Marvel stuff) and you, the readers post your comments about the post's topic in the comment box attached. It's not something I will do every day, but it's just a matter of posting topics when new ideas on what to discuss pop up in mind.

In the opening post of this forum series, the topic of discussion in general is the currently running hit T.V. series Arrow, the first T.V. show to have Green Arrow as the sole protagonist. So you're invited to share your thoughts about the show so far. Your commentaries can be something like if it's about favorite episodes, if it's about the show's sense of character development, if you find the show to be one of the best attempts to reversion DC comic book heroes for live-action film and television, if you find the show's lead actor acts and looks the role of Oliver Queen/Green Arrow well, if there any DC superheroes you like to see Green Arrow team up with in future episodes, etc.
