I'm sure I also stopped because at some point I lost all interest in dark and violent anime. Things were happening in my life, my health was getting worse, so I was tired of blood, even the red paint kind. ^^

u know at some point i was gunna stop but.....it's interesting
Its been a long time since I watched any Higurashi. I don't think I got past the first story arc either. It definitely screws with your brain.
