Oh that's pretty cool o.o I bet you'll make an awesome teacher! Okami keeps trying to convince me to teach nursing once I get my degree but I'm not comfortable in front of people ^^;; plus I don't think I'd be a good teacher lol

It is very competitive but totally worth it once you pass! I am actually going to school to for Education in Social Sciences which pretty much just means a history teacher ha ha but I will only teach history courses. I've thought about majoring in English and trying to do something with writing but I will stick with that as a side job (:

At the moment I'm doing my prerequisites to get into the nursing program. Once I get in I'm going to get my RN then transfer to the four year to get bsn and hopefully go all the way to nurse practitioner

I know the feeling...I'm in a 2 year college at the moment to get the degree to transfer to a four year college Okami works for. I wouldn't recommend mine either...unless the person was made of money. The classes minus the second math class and online psych I've taken were great. It was enjoyable even. What's not enjoyable is trying to pay for the freaking classes. That's the worst thing about my college.

bragging about turning away students is horrible. That only hurts them in the long run. I know I never recommend my college. I tell people to stay far far away ha ha I mean I have been there for three years now and still have another three to go to get my degree because they keep changing my degree plan

They brag about how much money they "save" each semester by turning down students =/ it's a shame really. I can't say I blame you though. I probably would too if I were in your shoes.

That's at the point I am at too with my school. They are soooooo below rate that they had to cut teachers and classes. I make too much on my own (since i'm single as of right now) to qualify for financial aid. I really didn't want to take out loans buuuut I also have to pay for my wedding next year. You think the financial aid department would be more willing to help students out

We paid out of pocket for summer and fall. We tend to stay away from loans. The college denied me fasfa because Okami somehow makes three times as much money this year with out me working than he did when we both worked -_- the financial aid department doesn't like help in students but complains because enrollment is down almost %20 more than last year. If I get an lower, the college will have to cut a lot of classes.
