Fruits basket was one of my first manga and I love it dearly. It makes me sad sometimes but I love it. I'm actually missing some volumes because a "friend" borrowed them. I didn't find out til weeks later she sold them for friggin tobacco -_- really? I mean really? Manga not cheap...

Anyway, about that anime. I still can't remember the name of it but it was about a little kid with green hair. It was a spoof anime but it was very well done. I watched it on justdubs years ago but it was an almost perfect balance of parody and culture that I think everyone could enjoy. I wish I could remember! Ahhh!

I've actually been listening to that soundtrack this week because of this meme lol I've been training my team while listening to it and another song I really wanna make a Green am v for. I kinda miss those days when I lived with my bros. It wasn't the best time period for them but we had each other and that's what mattered. Maybe one day we'll battle again ^^.....if they can get over all those losses that is heeheehee x) they eventually stopped battling me because I always won. The oldest brother used to tell me I was Green with Tits xD

I have a feeling that the FuruBa anime and manga are very different. I haven't read the manga, but the anime started with a good premise and then went nowhere. Since you speak so highly of the manga, that's why I think they'd be different.

For the thing you mentioned about Toonami, I always thought DBZ was broadcast there first. I started watching the block in '98 or '99, and when I picked up DBZ, they kept referencing some martial arts tournament (that must have happened in the original DB), and I had no clue what they were talking about. It was a few years later that they picked up DB. That was around when FUNi started doing dubs with their own voice cast. At least, that's what I THINK happened.

That memory you shared about the Pokemon songs was really sweet. It makes me want to be a kid again. I got into Pokemon when I was 13 or 14-- older than most fans at the time, so I didn't have anyone to play with besides my brother. But now you've got me reminiscing about the times we had playing with our Pokemon toys. It was more of a Pokemon soap opera/comedy than actual battles, though.

There was a bunch of other stuff that you said that I wanted to comment on, but I forget what I wanted to say. @_@ PLEASE let your listeners know what anime it was that you forgot about. It's bothering me about as much as it must be bothering you.

I was at first too. I'm a pretty shy person if u were to meet me offline. If I'm in a comfortable setting, I'm more personable. I tried using the memes as a way to get over that as well as the video meme I made forever ago
