Oh, well I was preparing to get another fanfic in this series I'm doing off the ground. And I decided to try and read the last two stories in the series to refresh my memory on the events. I lost track of time while reading and stayed up way later than I had intended. I also ended up with a headache.
Now that I finished brotherhood and I'm reading the manga I can see hes not totally bad =p in the first series I hated him to be honest. I do kinda miss the wrath in the original though >.< I thought he was adorable~ but like I said brotherhood is much better ^w^
Funny you should mention Greed. In the first anime, I think he was a totally wasted character. If it weren't for the manga, I wouldn't love him as much as I do.

To be honest, I never really liked the original FMA series. But I did like FMA Brotherhood. I thought it was a vast improvement over the original.
Okay, a new series you could try. Well, the last anime I watched on Netflix was Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040. I rather enjoyed it (heck, I have it on DVD now), but then it may not be your thing. Um, it's been a little while since I watched any anime on Netflix, so I don't quite remember what they still have. You could try and see if they've still got Full Metal Panic. That was pretty good. Sorry if I'm not being very helpful. I didn't get to sleep until 3:00 AM last night, so my brain's not operating a a hundred percent.
