INTERVIEW WITH MARSHALL
KSR: Hey, Marshall.
Marshall (sighing): What?
KSR: I just want to interview you for a little bit.
(Marshall rolls his eyes.)
KSR: Or do you want me to tell Naomi that you're being difficult?
Marshall (blushing): OK, OK, I'll talk.
KSR: So, say a little something about yourself.
Marshall: Uh, I started my summer off working at a pizza place. I don't work there anymore. It was stressful. At least it gave me enough money to live on for a few weeks when I ran away.
KSR: Why did you run away?
Marshall: My mom is crazy. I just couldn't take it anymore.
KSR: And then you met Naomi.
Marshall: Yeah.
KSR: Besides both being runaways, do you have anything else in common?
Marshall: We both have these weird powers that normal people don't have. She floats and I can move small objects without touching them.
KSR: Are big objects too heavy for you to move?
Marshall: It's just that my arm hurts when I lift things that are harder to move. Like, that crate.
KSR: What crate?
Marshall: Naomi and I found this guy trapped in a crate. It was weird. He... ended up staying around with us. Long story.
KSR: I'm sorry we don't have time for a long story. Thanks for letting me inteview you.
(Marshall breathes a sigh of relief.)
