From what I see it is pretty easy to convert Photoshop brushes to GIMP. At least it appears so. Project-GimpBC does it with a lot of the most used brush sets on Deviant-Art(with the original brush creators permissions of course). I, myself, have never tried.

This is a gorgeous brush set from what I can see. Sadly I do not use Photoshop but that doesn't stop me from appreciating a job well done!
(I don't have the money for photoshop and I refuse to pirate it. xD Call me strange in that respect. I use GIMP. Its still an excellent program.)
