Let's see.. news. Not much really is happening. Still jobless which I'm starting to feel financially. Wondering how in nine hells I'm going to afford Otakon. Hopefully I won't have to miss out. I'd hate to have to do that. So many good memories and fun that it would be extremely hard to just say no to. ;w;

But I fixed all the dead links in my art section! I still have one more I need to submit, but thanks to the submission limit I have to wait until tomorrow OTL It's been on my DeviantArt for awhile now though.

Well looks like I won't be submitting art here for awhile. Not until TheO sorts out their bugs. I keep getting an error every time I hit the submit button and when I go to the Portfolio I get an image with an "X" on it. I've tried numerous times to get it to work, but it doesn't. In other news, I went to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert yesterday. It was awesome. We had lots of fun. There's a bunch of clips from it that I took with my digital camera on my YouTube channel at http://www.youtube.com/user/bankaikitsune if you would like to take a look at them. The sound quality may not be that great because it was REALLY loud and my little microphone on the camera had to take all that in ^_^;

It's been almost 6 months since I made a post so I think I'll update. Since May... let me see...
Otakon was in July. It was awesome.. as usual! <3 I dressed up as Toushiro again, but I had a better wig so it felt more complete. Here's a pic:
(this wasn't Otakon, but Zenkaikon. It was the only pic I could find of me by myself)
I also brought home some great swag. A bunch of posters, two swords (Hyourinmaru and Sode no Shirayuki), a Soul plushie, some buttons and keychains and two hats (+fox ears). It was a great haul this year. Hopefully I can go next year. It's all up in the air right now. Maybe I'll get a part time job to pay just for that. I'd hate to have to miss it T_T
I also went down the shore for the first time by myself with a few friends. That was a fun time too. We need to do that again =) Next year will probably be even better because there's a new roller coaster coming that's stretching over two piers!!! It's going to be AWESOME!! I can't wait to see it. I wonder what it's going to be called?
Went to my cousin's wedding in October down in Cape May on the beach. Man was it freezing, but it was a very nice service. It was weird being down the shore in the middle of fall because that's usually a summer thing and I'm used to seeing people on the beach haha so it gave off a little lonely feeling..
Halloween just passed. I was Rukia Kuchiki this time. Since I didn't have much money to put into an elaborate cosplay (especially just for one night) I used what I had. Even used my own hair because I didn't want to splurge for a wig. If I go to Otakon next year though I'm going to buy one. Gelling and spraying my hair to look anime-ish does a job on the hair and it was hard to get out x_x I don't really want to go through that again haha
This month I'm going to be going to the Trans Siberian Orchestra concert. Last year was my first time going to it (to any concert for that matter) and totally loved it. I can't wait to see it again. The music was amazing. I'm also looking forward to the dinner that's coming afterward lol
Not too long after that is my birthday and Thanksgiving. Food and getting older.. great combination? I dunno lol Food is always good though xD Mashed potatoes especially omgggg *drool* LOL Turning 23 though should sound exciting, but it's not all that special. It's just another year to me. Still mentally 12 lol

6th Anniversary on TheO

Wow, can't believe it's been six years. It's amazing. Sometimes I fall through with keeping up the blog, but I stay active on the site almost everyday. I can't exactly say I remember the day I first joined, but I remember the old site and it being orange and gray! haha
Not much else to say about this except I plan on getting some more art submitted (currently going through a total lazy phase when it comes to art =.=) and more cards, wallpapers, etc. I haven't written a fanfiction in a while so maybe I'll get one of those done as well.
Until then, here's to another year on this great site ^_^
