thank you. i went to the ocean the day before i wrote that. and as i was staring out at the sea, watching the birds go by, the poem wrote itself in my head. when i got home, i wrote it down on paper. then, i typed it on here. i REALLY wanted to get it down. glad u liked it!

and glad u liked how i captured it. i just wrote everything i saw or knew.

i love this poem. i have loved the sea since i was young. we use to go every year but havent been able to do it for awhile. you really captured the ocean in this poem good job

Hehe, it's much better than decent. I think your poetry is fantastic! But it's nice that your modest about it ^_^ I think that it's good that you write whatever comes to mind, I think that's usually best with creative processes ^^ Thinking to much can be bad.

i just wing it most of the time and write what pops into my head at the time. then i get wonderful comments from everyone that they like it and everything. im just happy i can write decent poetry. i never thought myself to be good at poetry.....

I love nature poems. This one paints a pretty scene of sounds and sights. Then, the poem calls to the reader. Beautiful job!
