    I'm not entirely familiar with all of Puccini's works, but one year my school's choir did parts from Madame Butterfly. Was really cool! I agree - opera is both aural and visual.

    It's national opera week from Oct. 28 to Nov.6! (Okay, that's longer than a week, but I'll take those extra days.)

    Oh, I like both opera and Puccini! I've watched 3 of his operas, Madama Butterfly, Turandot, and Tosca. There's some more that I'd like to see, as well.

    I think it's not enough to listen to opera, but you also have to watch them to get the full impact.

    A shame too few under-appreciate opera. While that genre may not be the top of my list, opera is still very beautiful, and what those people do to train their voices like that...man, it's a lot of work!

    You like the opera? Or do you like Puccini?
