I didn't know what to make of Twitter at first, but now I find it's a good way to keep track of latest events, especially as they happen. (Should have seen how fast the tweets were coming in during the whole Tripoli incident!) I don't actually use it to update what I'm doing ("9: 42 PM, typing out comment on theO"), but to follow news feeds and updates from people/institutions varying from CERN to BBC to fellow theO members!
It's just a good way to get a feel of what's going on whenever some event is happening somewhere in the world. That's how I tend to use Twitter.

Ah, I see. If I had known, maybe I'd have joined in the fun, since I'm always up for watching some Haruhi Suzumiya. (I even watched the "Endless 8" arc twice, haha).
You sound like these other people... xD Jk! I don't get the whole Twitter thing. I mean, I don't think I'll set up an account too soon, BUT this makes me wonder if there are people out there who would be similar to me.... O_o *the horror*

Endless Summer was a gathering of folks who watched all of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya during the days when the "Endless Eight" portion of the story takes place. A bunch of people got together on Skype for an hour each day and let the good times roll.
