Righting a Wrong:

Tsukiro felt himself falling through space. It seemed he would fall forever when finally he was jolted out of his dream to find himself standing on the inside of a cell, two guards standing outside the bars, their backs to him. Instinctively, he halted his breath and turned his head to look behind him. There Kita sat with her arms, legs and neck restrained. He gave her a cocky grin and put his index finger to his lips as a sign to not make any noise. Then he turned back to face the guards and silently walked forward.

He pulled his zanpakuto and short sword from their sheaths, flipping them quickly so the hilts were facing down. He stopped just at the edge of the shadowed cell, so that his shadow wouldn’t cast down in front of the guards. He gave a high pitched whistle and waited for the guards to look at each other, then turn around. Before either of them could even glance into the dark cell, he raised his hands and slammed each hilt into the guards’ foreheads. They both fell back to the floor, out cold. He turned back to Kita, returning his zanpakuto to its sheath with a flourish.

“We should get going,” he said as he severed the cords of her restraints with his short sword. “I’m sure someone may have heard the guards fall to the floor. I’d rather not land myself in jail as well.”

Kita gave Tsukiro a worried look as she pulled the remains of the restraints from her person. She said nothing to him, but she knew he could see it in her eyes that she was more than worried about what might happen to him after she was free. A soft sigh escaped her as she nodded slight and stepped forward toward him. "Should I do away with the bar with my cero? Or would you like to do the honors?"

Tsukiro flipped his sword, stepping up to the bars. “I’m feeling cocky today, so…” Without even finishing his sentence, he lashed out twice with his sword. Some of the bars clattered to the floor, making a gap in the bars large enough for them to step through. He turned and reached out for her hand. “Let’s go. You ready?”

Kita nodded taking his hand in hers as she stepped through the opening with his help. Once both of them stepped outside the cell the third guard walked around the corner.

"What the hell!? How did you get out there and who the hell are you?!" His eyes looked at Tsukiro.

Kita's eyes locked with the guards as the sound of his sword being unsheathed echoed in the room.

Tsukiro turned around suddenly, lashing out with his leg. His ankle caught the guard in the head and send him flying through the open cell next to Kita’s. He slammed the bars shut and turned the lock, tossing the keys on the belt of one of the guards on the floor out of reach. Without looking back, he led Kita forward, looking for the nearest window.

"Tsukiro. I can feel Yamamoto and Kyoraku' reiatsu close. We have to be careful if we plan on making it out of here."

Tsukiro stopped mid stride and turned back to look at the guards. He walked back and rolled one of the guards over with is foot. He reached down and pulled the shihakusho off of the guard and tossed it to Kita. “Change into this. I’ll at least fool the guards a bit and make them think you’re a Soul Reaper.”

Tsukiro turned away from Kita as he closed his eyes, searching for the reiatsu of the Head Captain and the captain of Squad Eight.

Kita changed quickly then picked up her Arrancar uniform and tucked under her arm. "I am ready."

When Tsukiro turned around Kita was reaching up touching the remains of her mask. "You think this will draw attention?"

Tsukiro tilted his head, squinting at it. “It might not. It’s small enough people may not notice it. And if they do they might not know its a mask. It looks more like a hair ornament. Besides, you can’t take it off, can you?”

Kita nodded. "True. They would have to get close to see what is and they would have to know what I was to figure it out." She smiled brightly, "What now?"

Tsukiro turned his head to look in the opposite direction they were heading. “Well, the Zen garden is that way, so obviously we should head in the opposite direction and look for a window to exit from, since I highly doubt we’ll get lucky enough to make it down to the first floor without the captains figuring out what’s happening. So…” He took her hand again and dashed down the corridor. “This way!”

They weaved through the hallways of the prison, trying to find the edge of the building and hopefully a window, since Tsukiro was sure busting through the wall would attract too much attention. Along the way, they ran into a few other guards, but he knocked them all flat on the floor before they could even get a good look at them. Finally, they rounded a corner to see a light at the far end of the corridor. They ran to the end and stopped next to it.

Tsukiro looked out the window to find that they were on the opposite side of the prison, completely out of the way of the garden. Perfect.

“Hey you two! What do you think you’re doing?!”

Tsukiro jerked up and turned around to see two guards standing at the end of the hallway, a few feet away. He took two of his Kunai out of their harness and threw them both at the guards. They both landed in their shoulders. The guards groaned in pain as Tsukiro grabbed two more and threw them at their feet, nailing their feet to the floor.

“Jump!” He grabbed Kita and out the window they went.
