Uh... so had the cops who'd seen him pour the kerosine on himself already gone when they other cops gave him the lighter? Cuz if they were still there, then they have the worst short-term memory problem I've ever heard of o_O

Ok...you don't just forget that someone poured kerosine on themselves. Thats usually something that sticks in the memory I would think.
