That would be awesome, I totally support that decision, it would be great way to get out and see more places, and military experience usually looks good on resumes, basic training will be tough but it's there for a reason. Guess it's the "trial by fire" hard, but in the end you come out with a lot more than you started with.
My brother was looking into getting into the reserves, to stay close to home, but he had the opposite problem from you he had to lose weight...so far nothings happened with that -__-' no idea what's going on with him.
