She's already 4 though. She'll be 5 this September and she's never one this before...it's odd that she'd even sneak out of the house like that. Also I'm so sorry to hear that...that's awful.
My family's dog used to do that a lot, too. It would nearly give my mom a heart attack. He grew out of it when he got older, though. Actually, he recently died due to kidney failure. At least he didn't run away for good.

I'm glad she's ok too but this is the second time she's done this. Prior to the first, it's never happened before. I just can't wrap my head around it.
