Try making friends, then more people are likely to see your updates and be willing to look at your stuff. I know it's hard getting started and attracting views is a mystery sometimes ^^

Don't be discouraged if things don't pick up right away. If you keep at it, more people will see your serious about the project and by that and word of mouth, you'll pick up more followers.

i'm posting up an original manga story and want to get as much feedback as possible...how do i get more people to view it?

From your backroom, highlight "Profile" and click on 'Avatar'
There you upload a 100x100 jpg gif or png format picture from your computer
Click on the "Add or Change Avatar" button and ta-da!

Have you waited 24 hours for your submissions to go through? The next thing would be, when you submit do you get a green confirmation box that explains that it will go through a mod? If that doesn't work, is your work yours and not plagerized, and under a pg13 rating? Those would be the only real reasons that fan arts don't get approved.

Ive tried to submit a bunch of art but they never approve it...what can I do?
