So far, the answer is absolutely. I've been playing with the one-year old alot (which has made him estatic), and I've had a chance to hold the newborn quite a bit. I think I might be a little possessive of the newborn though...I say that because when I have her in my arms I'm very reluctant to let her go. ^//^
