The picture you include brings up a very interesting point about girls dressing as boys, but not vice versa. Not all that long ago, as late as the 1800s, very young boys were sometimes put in dresses by their parents, especially for pictures or paintings. So the question is, when did this thing that was considered perfectly normal to do to your child, suddenly become bad?
