Ohhhh. Thats a hard one. I've always been to shy to tell the guys I've ever fallen for anything about my fealings. I usually end up waiting for them to make the move. But I can tell you this: Stay open, Talk to him when you can, and always be there for him! This usually does the trick to let them know you care enough. He might actually get a hint. Try it!
